Christina Aguilera Struggles to Get Out of Bed Since Divorce
Christina Aguilera is opening up about her recent divorce from Jordan Bratman.
“It’s not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness,” she tells the December issue of Redbook. “It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”
PHOTOS: Christina and Jordan, the way they were
UsMagazine.com broke the news that Aguilera, 29,wholesale clothing cheap, and Bratman, 33, were separating after nearly five years of marriage. Days after the report, she filed for divorce on Oct. 14.

Asked about the rumors (of infidelity on both sides) and whether she and Bratman had tried couples therapy to resolve their issues, she says, “Out of respect for my husband, I prefer to keep the specifics private. Right now, I’m just trying to figure out how to make it through each day.

Her main focus these days: Her son Max, who turns 3 in January. “Thankfully, I have Max to keep me on a sane path,” she says. “His needs and happiness are my top priorities, and my biggest concern is to protect him and make him feel safe.”
On The Road With J. W. Anderson
Today is the boys’ turn at London fashion week, and JW Anderson will be showing his menswear, wholesale clothing cheap, but it’s his stuff for the ladies that caught our eye. It’s only his second season designing womenswear, but his first-ever presentation earlier this week showed exactly why Kristen Dunst and Jamie Winstone are fans of the young Irishman (and, for the record, why there’s a cultish like buzz about his accessories–tartan bangles with studs anybody?).
“The collection is all about youth and getting lost,” Anderson said, adding he was interested in the journey that young people make and the “ups and downs, the mistakes, the highs, the lows, that result from that.” And so, screening alongside the clothes, was a film he created for the occasion: a young couple—in each other’s borrowed clothing—going on a Hunter S. Thompson-like, acid-fuelled road trip. The elements are varied—neon, patchwork, dip dye, Navajo waistcoats, doilies glued to tulle, scuffed up biker boots embellished with Swarovski crystals—but an emphasis on smart cutting and tailoring pulls it all together. No wonder that sales, reportedly, have been brisk, and Liberty of London has cornered exclusive pieces. His dream client, Anderson said, would be Dree Hemingway. At this rate, that shouldn’t be just a dream for much longer.

Mymu Gets High
For several seasons now, the espadrille has been enjoying a revival, and there are plenty of reasons to be thankful for that. (A brief relief from stiletto-induced foot pain is just one we could mention.) We’ve been especially taken with the options from Mymu, Gabriela Lanardonne’s line, wholesale clothing cheap, inspired by the Argentine alpargatas she saw as a child in her father’s native Buenos Aires. But woman cannot live on flats alone—just ask any of the editors and stylists at the shows, where anything shorter than 6″ is almost unheard of. Problem, meet solution. For Spring ‘11, Lanardonne is introducing wedges, in many of the same styles she’s already offered as flats. Soon you’ll be able to tower away—and if you do feel like staying a bit closer to the ground, you’ll be glad to know the classic flats aren’t going anywhere for Spring ‘11. They’ll even be offered in a few bold color-block versions, like hot pink and orange. Sound like anything you’ve seen recently?

Lady Gaga On Nicola Formichetti’s Appointment At Thierry Mugler
Last week, Nicola Formichetti (left) was announced as the new creative director of Thierry Mugler. Formichetti styles for just about everyone cool—he was fashion director of Dazed & Confused, wholesale clothing cheap, and contributing fashion director at Vogue Hommes Japan. But he’s best known as Lady Gaga’s personal stylist, and she’s got something to say for the occasion (no surprise there). Over to you, Gaga:
“Blood pumps through Nicola’s veins like perfume and cigarettes. His brain throbs with misfit royalty, glamour as punk survival, attitude as liberation, style as revolution. Thierry Mugler has a way with legendary lifestyle and Nicola is just that: Epic Lifestyle, Freakdom, Gorgeous or Die, the ‘fuck’ in future poetry, the street in High-Fashion. Nicola Formichetti is Fashion’s Freedom. I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess. But don’t tell him I said that, he’ll die. He picked them all out.” —Lady Gaga

Usher I Want a Harem of Women, Not a Second Wife
Usher wants big love — with lots of ladies!
Single since his ugly 2009 divorce from Tameka Foster, the 32-year-old star isn’t itching to walk down the aisle again. “Seeing how marriage didn’t work out for me the first time, I’m in no rush to do it again, wholesale clothing cheap,” Usher tells Playboy Digital.
PHOTOS: Do these stars look better after breakup?
Instead? “Maybe I can find a couple of women who are open-minded,” the “OMG” singer muses. “Look at how Hugh Hefner does it, with a harem of women.”
And he’s got his pick of harem candidates, Usher says, with tons of women hitting on him. “Sh*t, what haven’t they said to me?” he laughs. “Every so often you meet a woman who’s very aggressive. ‘I’ll make you feel things you’ve never felt in your life.’ ‘Once you get it, you’ll never let it go.’ All that.”
PHOTOS: What Usher used to look like as a 90s TV star
Did the lines ever work? “A couple of times,” he admits.
PHOTOS: Other big-time splits in Hollywood
But the star also thinks that his split from Foster, with whom he has two sons (Usher V, 4, and Naviyd, nearly 22 months), helped boost his fame. “In an era when sensationalism is more prevalent than anything, yeah,” he says. “People love a train wreck. Lindsay Lohan – everybody is eager to see how that comes out. This is somewhat the same thing.”
Zoe Saldana Reveals Her Dream Fashion Collaborator
Is Zoe Saldana ready to retire from the movie business to start a career in fashion?
PHOTOS: Get A-List style for less!
Not quite — though the 32-year-old actress tells MyFDB she hopes to co-design a line of apparel in the future.
“Prabal Gurung has been a very good friend for many years. I am in awe of the way he has carried himself and his designs recently,” Zaldana raved. “It would be amazing to collaborate with him.”
PHOTOS: Fall’s hottest denim trends
The Avatar star says she tends to favor “more dramatic” designers like Givenchy, Alaia, Christian LaCroix and, natch, wholesale clothing cheap, Calvin Klein (Zaldana is the underwear brand’s spokeswoman).
“Calvin Klein has been such an all-American staple for me. I love what Francisco Costa does every year with his clean lines,” she says. “His designs allow the woman in you to shine through. I have been wearing his dresses a lot this year.”
PHOTOS: Classic celebrity style
And though Zaldana isn’t quite sure what her designs would look like, she promises they will reflect her own personal style.
“Our personal interpretation of art is what defines us and distinguishes us from each other,” she says. “I think we should always stay true to that.”
Turn On Your Brights
Sometimes, trends that make a bright start in New York fade by the time the shows reach Europe, like brash Americans snubbed by their continental cousins. But that’s not the case with the brilliant fluoro tones that lit up Spring ‘11 in NYC (at Prabal Gurung, below right, and Proenza Schouler, below center). Vivid, neon colors—most especially hazard orange, often paired with tense aqua blues and shocking pinks—have hit the runways in London (at Jonathan Saunders, above left, and Christopher Kane, below left) and now in Milan at Gucci (above right). Not recommended for the faint of heart.
